Tasks involved: read and interpret electrical, mechanical and architectural drawings and electrical code specifications to determine wiring layouts cut, thread, bend, assemble and install conduits and other types of electrical conductor enclosures and fittings pull wire through conduits and holes in walls and floors position, maintain and install distribution and control equipment such as switches, relays, circuit breaker panels and fuse enclosures install, replace, maintain and repair electrical systems and related electrical equipment install data cabling splice, join and connect wire to form circuits test circuits to ensure integrity and safety install and maintain fibre optic systems Requirements The successful candidate will have: 1) Trade Certification 2) Excellent communication skills 3) Excellent organizational skills 4) Own Tools 5) Own vehicle 6) Extensive knowledge of residential building processes, especially renovation work 7) Handle items weighing up to 25 kilograms 8) The ability to work at heights 9) The desire to do a precise and thorough job Job Type Temporary Start Date 10/3/2011 Title Temp: Prince George- Electrician Location Prince George State/Province British Columbia [BC] Compensation & Benefits Overview Compensation - Hourly 28.00 <<>> TO APPLY: Email resume to 1013.excel@hiredesk.net or Register and Submit Your Resume to this job at http://www.excel.bc.ca/jobs.htm (Resume's accepted only in Word Document format) <<>> Great People.
