Tasks involved: reading blueprints or getting instructions from a supervisor doing the layout (selecting materials, planning sequences and methods of work, measuring and marking materials to avoid costly mistakes or omissions) cutting and shaping materials, and joining them with nails, screws, bolts or glue checking completed units to be sure they are level, square, plumb and the right size, shape and location. must work accurately and economically, and follow national and local building codes Requirements The successful candidate will have: 1) Trade Certification 2) Excellent communication skills 3) Excellent organizational skills 4) Own Tools 5) Own vehicle 6) Extensive knowledge of residential building processes, especially renovation work 7) Handle items weighing up to 25 kilograms.
